Gothic triforium testimony <\/p>\n
Along Via Roma, at the intersection with Viale Pisani, on the site of the current monument to the Fallen, stood the Pisani Palace, a building of Gothic architecture, with trefoils, biforiums, and trilobate windows, renovated in 1550, as recalled by the inscription placed on the seventeenth-century portal by a bishop “R. D. PISANI EPI”.<\/p>\n
It was already the seat of the bishop’s agency that managed the many properties belonging to the episcopate of Padua.<\/p>\n
It was still standing until the early ’60s, when it was destroyed by a fire. The only remaining testimony is a Gothic trefoil window, displayed in the piazzetta dei Caduti.<\/p>\n
