Villa Angeloni, Primo Maggio

Villa Angeloni, now I Maggio, is currently owned by the municipality. It is part of a notable complex of 17th-century origin, described in a map from 1697 in its original forms.
 

The main building is only two stories high, lacking the eastern part of the structure, while the western side appears more developed in length. The construction was renovated and expanded around the mid-1700s at the behest of the owners, the Angeloni family, who made substantial changes to the villa, the portico, the rustic buildings, and the leaseholder houses.

Around 1780, work is carried out during which Giandomenico Tiepolo is commissioned to create the oval fresco on the ceiling of the first room to the right of the ground floor hall, where The Merit and two allegorical figures are painted framed by a stucco profile.
