Archeologia industriale in Riviera del Brenta
A flat bike route through industrial archaeology and river history: discover the ancient factories, mills,...
A natural oasis perfect for spending some time in contact with nature.
The Giare oasis extends alongside the Venetian lagoon and is a place rich in flora and fauna. Along the road, there are various rural buildings, testifying to its ancient vocation, and it is possible to see the barena, a landscape typical of the Venice lagoon and very important from an ecological point of view as it promotes water exchange and limits the impact of tides. Recently, the so-called "spiaggia dei poareti" has also been reopened, an area where those who could not afford a trip to the Lido of Venice or Sottomarina once went to swim. For those who love nature, the recommended route is certainly in the locality of Giare, reachable from the S.S. Romea. Once you reach the end of Ca 'Nova, for several kilometers you can walk on the lagoon contermination embankment, next to the boat shelters called "cavane", observing the large space that here opens onto the lagoon and the salt marsh and listening the silence and the sounds of nature.
