Bosco del Parauro
The Bosco del Parauro is a plain forest of about 15 hectares, inserted in the typical landscape of the Roman centuriazione, deriving from the transformation of a former agricultural area owned by the Province of Venice now a metropolitan city, which took place through the planting of more than 40,000 young plants of native species trying to give life to a naturalistic environment although artificially constructed, it conceptually recalled the woods that originally occupied the Venetian plain. The most representative tree of the forest is the moth.
In the forest there is a wide variety of fauna including wild species typical of the plains and it is also an important refuge area for minor migratory species (thrushes, caesens, fringillids). Inside the forest there is an easily accessible equipped trail of about 1300 metres.
