On the occasion of the celebration of Corpus Domini, a unique challenge takes place in Noale among the Contrade (Bastia, Cerva, Drago, Gato, S.Giorgio, S.Giovanni, and S. Urbano) and the Tempesta Group of the Palio di Noale to add more decorum and splendor to the Christian solemnity: to create a floral carpet of over 100 square meters, made up of panels depicting scenes with religious subjects framed by a grassy mantle.

The artists use thousands of petals, herbaceous essences, cereals, stems, and natural materials which they place on the mantle of the road next to the ancient Torre delle Campane. A work that requires coordination, teamwork, and dedication, including with the help of children from local kindergartens. This is the meaning of the ancient tradition, which is not only about decoration.

The construction of the Infiorata in front of the Torre dell’Orologio begins at 6.00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, and continues through the night. This year, the floral composition has the theme "In the footsteps of Francesco."

From Sunday morning, several Madonnari will be working on the pavement of Piazza Castello with the initiative "Madonnari for a day: Color your square" dedicated to children and families.

At 10.00 a.m. in Piazza Castello do not miss "Beyond the visible": an interesting activity for perceiving inclusive and accessible art.

The day concludes at 7.00 p.m. with the Corpus Domini procession all the way to the Torre delle Campane, in front of the designs made with flowers and with the footsteps of the Infiorata by the children.
