Exhibition Luciano Borin and contemporary voices

It is known that in any artistic expression originality is always relative, and therefore artists observe and are observed among themselves, inserting themselves as voices in a choir of the living and the dead, through time and space. The most sensitive and aware of this pay homage to those they feel akin to with references that are at times explicit (consider the variations of the last Picasso on Delacroix, Velázquez, or Manet), implicit (the painters and sculptors of the twentieth century by Margherita Sarfatti in relation to the classical tradition and the Tuscan primitives), or allusive, indirect, oblique, or – as in this case – inspiring themselves with an entire poetics or with individual elements of it.
