Guided Tour of Villa Badoer Fattoretto

12 Apr 2026 00:00 — 00:00
PROGRAM

You will have the opportunity to visit some rooms on the ground floor of the Villa, whose origins date back to the beginning of the 1500s, when Giacomo Badoer, a politician and merchant of the Republic of Venice, after buying a plot of land in the Sambruson area, decided to build a summer residence. Despite the original architectural structure being partially modified, the solemnity of this elegant residence and the characteristic atmosphere of living in a villa that defined the decadent Venetian period remain intact.

You will also visit the “Museum of the Villano” inside the barns, an interesting ethnographic museum with a collection of over 30,000 ancient tools that tell the story of arts and trades from the past. You will discover a fascinating display of rural tools, such as those used by farmers and lumberjacks, as well as various kitchen utensils, wine cellar tools, carts, and carriages.

You will stroll through the beautiful 20,000 square meter garden, decorated with statues and period marbles, which welcomes the villa and its surroundings. On the side facing the Naviglio, you can walk along a suggestive path that ends with a wrought iron gate and beautiful statues, while on the other side, you will discover the vast park of the villa and its small but charming pond.
