Fra le Ville Venete

Back in 2026, "Among the Venetian Villas," the cultural and photographic contest created by Antonio and Elisa Draghi and promoted as part of the Diffused Museum of the Riviera del Brenta between Miranese and Saccisica. A path that unites history, landscape, and photography through meetings, guided tours, and experiences on the territory, reserved for participants in the entire contest.

The program will take place from March to September 2026, with appointments mainly on Saturday mornings (approximately from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM) and two day trips. The calendar may be subject to changes in dates or times.

THE PROGRAM

Saturday, March 14, 2026 Fiesso d’Artico “Fiesso d’Artico: a thousand years of history” Meeting at the town hall with greetings from the Mayor of Brenta Sicuro, Vittorio Pampagnin. Historical introduction by the speakers of the contest and a historical walk in the center of Fiesso d’Artico, accompanied by Elisabetta Vulcano.

Saturday, March 28, 2026 Bacucco – Banks of the Brenta “Words on the Banks” Poetic walk with Mirko Artuso, author, director, theater and film actor. An immersive experience that weaves together words, landscape, and storytelling along the Brenta River.

Saturday, April 11, 2026 Stra – Villa Foscari Rossi “Beauty and productivity in the garden and in the Italian rural landscape” Meeting with Antonella Pietrogrande, coordinator of the Historical Garden Group at the University of Padua, with a visit to the garden and the villa.

Saturday, April 18, 2026 Mirano – Villa Rebuschi “Villa Rebuschi and the history of Mirano” Guided tour of the villa in the historic center of Mirano, accompanied by Gianni Caravello, local historian.

Saturday, May 9, 2026 Mira – Villa Bon Tessier “The villa of the ’500 and its context” Visit to the Renaissance villa accompanied by Elisabetta Vulcano, art history professor.

Saturday, May 23, 2026 Stra – Hydrotechnical Institute “Stra, the Hydrotechnical Institute and Villa Pisani” Walk to discover the Hydrotechnical Institute and its history, with a reading path of the landscape and buildings along the Brenta. Accompanied by Cristian Masci, local history researcher.

Saturday, June 6, 2026 – DAY TRIP Pellestrina and Lido di Venezia “The places of worship and the lagoon landscape” Boat trip with a visit to Pellestrina and the Lido, accompanied by guides and with the presence of Francesco Vallerani, former professor of Geography at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Light lunch provided.

Saturday, September 5, 2026 – DAY TRIP AND AWARD CEREMONY Grappa Massif “From Brenta to Grappa” Excursion using personal means in the Grappa Massif, accompanied by the Great War Remembrance Group of Padua.
